Alex and I were doing something on the internet today when he saw a picture of Barack Obama with a cigarette in his mouth.
Alex, shocked that the leader of the free world would do such a thing, says, "Mom, does the president SMOKE??"
To which I replied, "Yes, I think he does."
He lets out a big, disgusted "Aaaahhh....he is an OBAMA-nation to our country! Haha....get it, Mom?? An abomination...OBAMAnation!!!"
He thinks he came up with this, but I'm thinking maybe not. Anybody heard this before??
Either way, we got a good laugh out of it!!

that exact quote led to a full-blown fight in my class last year!! i'm not exaggerating!! one kid said that...and a great lover of obama hit him, then shoved him over a chair. it was ugly!! who knew 2nd graders were so political??
